So I finally got round to planting out the little tomato plants I grew from seed - then this happened! Hail, lots of hail, in June? I think they're going to survive their apocalyptic move to the balcony, but they're looking a bit worse for wear - so here's hoping there's no more hail!!
The plants might think that hail is just little stored balls of water that release their goods slowly through the day, a bit like porridge. They'll never know if you don't tell them!
