Weekend full of workshops!

My weekend was spent running lovely workshops, starting on Saturday afternoon with Crafternoon Cabaret Club in the cosy upstairs room of a pub! Thank you so much to the wonderful Hannah for having me along as the crafternoon's guest crafter and to Mr Meredith for adding much laughter with his cabaret performance - both pictured below right!

Everyone crafted an array of gorgeous Day of the Dead inspired lanterns and headdresses - below left you can see the beautiful Momtaz of The Make Escape modelling her stunning headdress! What I love about workshops is seeing the way each person makes their own interpretation of the project, how they bring their own sense of design to it, so everyone ends up creating something really personal.

Then on Sunday I took over the upstairs space of beautiful Camden Passage shop SMUG with a stencilled (and pom pom-ed!) wall hanging workshop! Our making was fuelled by delicious tea and cake from T&SHOP (the orange blossom tea was seriously amazing) who are running a pop-up tea room downstairs at SMUG every Sunday in October.

If you missed all the workshop fun, or you want more!, click here to check out my next workshop at SMUG coming up on 27th October. I only have a few spaces left, so get booking - and don't forget to book with code 'SMUG' for 20% discount
